Luke's Story

Luke's love for food started at the early age of 4. Whether he was in the garden planting vegetables, fishing with his family or in some cases trusted with choosing the crab for dinner, an excitement and joy for produce, cooking and sharing food with others has always been his passion.


"Agriturismos, tavernas, bodegas, pubs—these are the places that inspire everything I cook. Sitting in a bustling local spot, watching people enjoy simple, incredible food as a normal part of their day, never gets old. For me, that’s what food is all about. It’s where I get my inspiration, and it’s the exact feeling I want to bring back to Dorset."


Inspired when travelling through Europe, India, Brazil and parts of Africa, Luke has always noted down his favourite ingredients, dishes and flavours in the hope of one day sharing these with friends and family.


Luke spent years working in hospitality, at places like Davy's Wine Bars, The Pig Group and the family restaurant on the Wiltshire/Dorset border.
